The Victorian Game Fishing Club is a family oriented fishing club with a vision to acheive an environment that will induce present and future generations anglers to value and appreciate the benefits of membership of a vibrant game fishing club.
The Victorian Game Fishing Club was formed by five friends, at the time all members of the A.N.S.A. club, the Peninsula Sports Fishing Club. After "discovering " a place called Bermagui on the New South Wales south coast they decided a Blue Water club would suit their needs. So in July 1974 the Victorian Game Fishing Club was born.Going from strength to strength with a growing membership the club purchased it's own premises in December 1982. The clubrooms, located at 186 Station Street, Edithvale, have been brought up to their present standards through the efforts of successive committees and, of course the club membership that has grown to around 300.
